Biography
Pirzada is a litigation and trial associate with broad-ranging experience, spanning all kinds of subject matters and forums. Pirzada has helped achieve success for high net worth individual, corporate, and indigent clients in federal and state courts and arbitration. He has represented clients in complex commercial, antitrust, products liability, legal ethics, and contractual disputes, among other practice areas.
Even as an associate, Pirzada has earned the trust of many clients with his knack for distilling complex legal issues, persuasively framing core factual disputes, and creatively resolving unsettled questions of law in clients’ favor.
Prior to joining the firm, Pirzada was an associate at Wilkinson Stekloff and Boies Schiller Flexner.
Notable Matters
Member of the Wilkinson Stekloff trial team that secured a groundbreaking victory for Microsoft, defeating the FTC’s efforts to enjoin its $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard and winning the second-biggest merger trial in American history.
Previously represented the NCAA in several high-profile antitrust matters, including the recently settled student-athlete compensation and benefits cases.
As lead counsel, recently won relief in multiple federal immigration cases on emerging and contested issues of law, creating meaningful precedents that protect due process and the rule of law.
